I don’t get the chance to talk about settings for things but I figure here’s a good place. These well likely be hella technical and only for people that make music. If you don’t make music, you might find posts like this interesting but I’m posting them for people curious and also for personal documentation. So here goes!

The first thing at the top of my personal organization for tracks is the drums. In this case, I used a built in sample set for Studio One. This track came together really fast and I didn’t spend too much brain space on getting the perfect drum sound or anything. AntiGravity Maneuvers is literally the third preset.

The rest of the instruments were originally also built-in Studio One synth sounds but since I have the chance to update it, why not beef up the synths a little? Since I originally made this track, I started using Arturia Analog Lab V since it came with my keyboard. I’m not savvy enough to really build my own sounds so I rely on the presets. The bass is “80S Bass,” the arp sound is “Fusion Lead,” and the pad sound is “Blue Strings.” For the track, I automated the brightness knob on each of the presets to make some build in the track.

That’s it! I did pretty basic mixing stuff, I think and that’s probably way too extra for people to want to read but I could talk about that a little if anyone cares haha. If things were somehow unclear, let me know and I’m happy to elaborate.
